New Delhi, 19 December (H.S.): Agricultural commodities manufacturer and supplier Stanbic Agro made a strong debut on the stock market today, rewarding its IPO investors with instant gains. Issued at ₹30 per share, the company’s stock got listed at ₹31.75 on the BSE SME Platform, marking a 6 percent premium over the issue price.

Soon after the listing, robust buying pushed the stock to its upper circuit level of ₹33.33, reflecting an 11.10 percent jump on the very first day of trade.Stanbic Agro’s ₹12.28 crore initial public offering (IPO) was open for subscription from December 12 to 16, receiving a fair response from investors.

The issue was subscribed 1.49 times overall, with the non-institutional investor (NII) portion subscribed 1.27 times and the retail category subscribed 1.70 times. Under the IPO, the company issued 4.092 million equity shares with a face value of ₹10 each.

Funds raised through the public issue will be utilized for opening new retail outlets, paying brokerage charges, making security deposits, meeting working capital needs, and for general corporate purposes.

According to the company’s Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) filed with SEBI, Stanbic Agro’s financial performance has shown consistent growth. The company reported a net profit of ₹1.02 crore in FY 2022–23, which rose to ₹1.85 crore in FY 2023–24 and further surged to ₹3.74 crore in FY 2024–25.

During the same period, total revenue expanded at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of over 98 percent, reaching ₹52.49 crore.In the ongoing fiscal year 2025–26, the company recorded a net profit of ₹2.22 crore and total income of ₹35.55 crore in the first half (April–September 2025).

As of the end of September 2025, Stanbic Agro had outstanding debt of ₹10 lakh, while its reserves and surplus stood at ₹9.74 crore, reflecting a solid balance sheet position.
