Jammu, 18 December (H.S.): Police had a tough time controlling the leaders and workers of the Congress party during a strong protest demonstration against BJP near its office at Trikuta Nagar Jammu, expressing anger against the witch-hunting of Congress leadership and sought apology from BJP leadership after the Court dismissed charge-sheet against them in Young India Ltd (National Herlad Case).

Led by senior leadership of the Party including working president Raman Bhalla, former Minister and senior leader Mula Ram, besides DCC president Jammu Urban Manmohan Singh, DCC president Jammu Rural Hari Singh Chib, Satish Sharma, Dwarika Chowdhary, Sanjeev Panda and several others, a strong protest demonstration was held at Trikuta Nagar, Sai Palace area of Mini Market, raising slogans against BJP and Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for misusing the investigating agencies as part of their vendetta politics against opponents especially Congress leaders and Gandhis.

They raised slogans in favour of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi and demanded apologies for vendetta politics against Gandhi’s and Congress leadership and framing of the false, baseless and concocted cases as has been held by the Court on Tuesday by rejecting the ED charge- sheet stating that there is no FIR, there is no case. The BJP leadership and the Modi Govt should apologize to the Nation and the Congress leadership for their diversionary tactics.

The Police had a tough time to stop the Congress protests leading to a minor scuffle to prevent them from proceeding further, who later dispersed peacefully after lodging their protest against the BJP.

Talking to reporters, Raman Bhalla demanded apologies for vendetta politics against Gandhi’s & Congress leadership and framing of the false, baseless and concocted cases as has been held by the Court yesterday by rejecting the ED charge- sheet stating that there is no FIR, there is no case.

Bhalla strongly demanded BJP and Modi Govt’s apologies to the Nation and the Congress leadership for their diversionary tactics and vendetta politics.
