Srinagar, 18 December (H.S.): J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) has said that the BJP Government led by Modi – Shah has been exposed for their vendetta politics against Gandhi’s and Congress leadership by the court verdict and sought a public apology from BJP for their witch hunting of opponents.
Addressing a press conference here today, JKPCC chief spokesperson Ravinder Sharma hit out at BJP leadership and Modi Government for their decade long vilification campaign against Gandhi’s and top Congress leadership over a false, baseless and concocted case. He said the court verdict vindicated the Congress stand and exposed the BJP leadership and Prime Minister Narender Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for their vendetta politics.
Flanked by senior leaders Abdul Gani Khan, Nissar Ahmad Mandoo, Dr Audil Farooq Mir Lasjan,
Sharma said that the massive turnout in the Maha Rally against Vote Chori in Ramleela Maidan, New Delhi on Dec 14 has proved that it has become a big issue in the country today. He claimed that transfer of public money of Rs.10,000 to around one crore women in Bihar, amidst Assembly elections, is a clear violation of code of conduct and fair elections and level playing field under the noose of EC
He questioned the failure of the BJP led Government to fulfill the promise to restore full statehood to J&K even after more than six years of its downgrading and when an elected Government is in place for over a year. It is complete betrayal of BJP and Centre with people of J&K .
Sharma expressed great concern over rising unemployment in J&K which is highest, so far. There is a record number of recruitment scams under BJP led UT rule exposing their claims of governance and check on corruption. The youth are frustrated, so the government should fill all vacancies, create more jobs, ensure time bound regularization of all daily, casual, temporary, contractual employees in different departments & PSUs, without delay.
