Mumbai, 18 Dec (HS): The threats of blasting courts on

Thursday rattled the security agencies. An e-mail to blast the Bombay High

Court and Mumbai’s Bandra Court was received alerting the Mumbai police. In the

morning a similar threat of blasting Nagpur District and Sessions Court was

received.

The work at the courts were kept pending following

the treats. The Bomb Detection and Disposal Squads started searching for the bomb

or other suspicious object. The court buildings were evacuated and the premises

were cordoned off by the police. In Nagpur message of placing two bombs were

received.

Nothing objectionable was found in the court

premises. The Cyber Crime Branch of police are searching for the source of the

e-mail.
