Domestic bullion markets opened lower on Monday with both gold and silver prices registering modest declines amid subdued trading sentiment. 24-carat gold traded between ₹1,33,900 and ₹1,34,060 per 10 grams across most centres, while 22-carat gold ranged from ₹1,22,740 to ₹1,22,890 per 10 grams.
Silver weakened to ₹1,97,900 per kilogram in Delhi's wholesale market.In the national capital, 24-carat gold was quoted at ₹1,34,060 per 10 grams and 22-carat at ₹1,22,890. Mumbai saw 24-carat gold at ₹1,33,900 and 22-carat at ₹1,22,740 per 10 grams, while Ahmedabad recorded ₹1,33,960 and ₹1,22,790 respectively.
Chennai and Kolkata both listed 24-carat gold at ₹1,33,900 and 22-carat at ₹1,22,740 per 10 grams.Bhopal's rates stood at ₹1,33,960 for 24-carat and ₹1,22,790 for 22-carat gold per 10 grams. Lucknow mirrored Delhi with ₹1,34,060 and ₹1,22,890, while Patna quoted ₹1,33,960 and ₹1,22,790. Jaipur also aligned with the capital at ₹1,34,060 for 24-carat and ₹1,22,890 for 22-carat.
Similar softness prevailed in southern and eastern markets. Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Bhubaneswar all reported 24-carat gold at ₹1,33,900 and 22-carat at ₹1,22,740 per 10 grams, reflecting uniform pressure across regional exchanges.
