Pune, 14 December (H.S.): Opener Yashasvi Jaiswal unleashed a blistering 101 off 50 balls, featuring 16 fours and a six, to steer Mumbai to a pulsating four-wicket victory over Haryana in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy Elite 2025 Super League Group B clash at DY Patil Academy on Sunday.

Haryana, batting first after Mumbai captain Ajinkya Rahane won the toss and elected to field, posted a formidable 234 for three in 20 overs. Skipper Ankit Kumar (89 off 42, with 10 fours and six sixes) and Nishant Sindhu (63 not out off 38, including four fours and three sixes) forged a century stand after Arsh Ranga's 26, with Samant Jakhar adding 31 off 14 before retiring hurt and Sumit Kumar unbeaten on 16.

Mumbai's chase ignited with a 53-run opening stand between Rahane (21 off 10) and Jaiswal, before Jaiswal partnered Sarfaraz Khan (64 off 25, nine fours, three sixes) to surge past 100 in six overs. Jaiswal anchored the pursuit solo, reaching his ton off 48 balls, as contributions from Angkrish Raghuvanshi (7), Suryansh Shedge (13), Shardul Thakur (2), with Saairaj Patil (8 not out) and Atharva Ankolekar (10 not out) finishing unbeaten at 238 for six in 17.3 overs.
