Delhi, 11 December (H.S.): Bollywood actor Salman Khan has approached the Delhi High Court seeking to prevent the unauthorised use of his photos, voice and other elements of his personality across social media platforms, e-commerce sites and by unidentified individuals.

In his petition, the actor said his image, name and likeness were being misused without consent, prompting him to seek a restraining order to safeguard his personality rights.

The matter is listed before Justice Manmeet Pritam Singh Arora on Thursday.

The court has recently passed similar orders protecting the personality rights of several public figures, including Ajay Devgn, Jaya Bachchan, Sudhir Chaudhary, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Nagarjuna, Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan and Karan Johar. Telugu actor Junior NTR has also sought similar protection and his plea is pending.
