MP Ujjwal Raman Singh said in the Lok Sabha that cow is called Gaumata, it is a
symbol of national pride and honour, and therefore cow should be declared as
the mother of nation. Giving this information, MP representative Vinay Kushwaha
said that MP Ujjwal Raman Singh expressed concern in the Lok Sabha over the
decreasing or extinction of indigenous cows and said that there is an urgent
need for their conservation, there should be a complete ban on buying, selling,
transportation and slaughtering of cows, calves, heifers, heifers and buffaloes
for slaughter. He said that Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati Maharaj
is fighting for the conservation of cows, there should be a complete ban on cow
slaughter, indigenous cows should be protected. Cow should be declared as the
mother of the state or the mother of the nation and their pride and honour
should be protected.
