Nagpur, 10 Dec (HS): Maharashtra Legislative Assembly

Speaker Rahul Narvekar directed the State Government to stop charging toll to

e-vehicles.

The issue was raised by Anil Patil during the Question

Hour on Wednesday informing the House that the toll booths are recovering

charges from e-vehicles, on Samruddhi Highway. The State Government had announced

a policy to waive toll for e-vehicles.

Narvekar directed the concerned department to enquire

and sto[p charging the e-vehicles within eight days.
