Lucknow, 07 Nov (HS): Uttar

Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath asserted that Vande Mataram continues

to instill pride, reverence, and togetherness in Indians throughout

generations. It is ageless, transcending eras and territory, and reflects the

divinity of Bharat Mata, the living embodiment of civilization, culture, and

eternal awareness. In a post on X, he stated, “On

the auspicious occasion of the completion of 150 glorious years of our national

anthem 'Vande Mataram' dedicated to the worship of Mother India, Respected

Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi has called for the mass singing of the full

version of 'Vande Mataram' at public places at 9:50 am today. Let us join this

inspiring call of the Prime Minister and sing the national anthem collectively

with one voice, one resolve, and one spirit. This is not just a song; it is the

echo of the soul of the nation, which unites us with unity, integrity, and the

resolve of 'Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat'. Vande Mataram!”

meanwhile, in another post, he emphasised, “Vande Mataram

has been awakening us for 150 years. Even the founding fathers of independent

India considered this song a symbol of the nation's soul. This is why Vande

Mataram remains a source of reverence and pride for every Indian even today. 150

years later, Vande Mataram remains the soul of the nation and conjures unity. This

song serves as a reminder that the homeland is a live force rather than a

concept. To adore her is one of life's most noble gestures. 'Vande Mataram'

reminds us that patriotism is a lifetime of commitment and responsibility, not

a fleeting sensation,” while sharing an article

penned by him in both English and Hindi languages.
