Delhi, 6 November (H.S.): The grand finale of THINQ 25, the Indian Navy's prestigious national quiz competition, concluded with great enthusiasm at the Indian Naval Academy (INA) on Wednesday, November 5. Jayshree Periwal High School from Jaipur emerged as the champion in a spirited contest of intellect and curiosity.

Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, Chief of the Naval Staff, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The event was the culmination of a nationwide intellectual journey celebrating knowledge and India’s rich maritime heritage. This year's edition, themed MAHASAGAR, embodied the Indian Navy’s spirit of exploration and its commitment to nurturing maritime consciousness among the youth.

From an initial pool of thousands of participants across the country, 16 schools qualified for the semi-finals, representing the North, South, East, and West zones. The top eight teams advanced to the grand finale to compete for the coveted trophy.

After a closely fought contest, PM Shri Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya from Samastipur secured the runner-up position.In his address, Admiral Tripathi commended the young participants for their enthusiasm and deep understanding of India's maritime legacy.

He emphasized the importance of cultivating curiosity and encouraging innovation, qualities he said will shape the maritime leaders and thinkers of tomorrow.The grand finale was live-streamed on the Indian Navy’s official social media channels, drawing a large viewership from schools and maritime enthusiasts nationwide.

The Navy announced it is already looking forward to THINQ - 26, continuing its mission to inspire young minds.
