
New Delhi, 6 November (H.S.): The slide in the domestic bullion market persisted on Thursday as gold prices continued their downward trajectory. The precious metal saw its value weaken by ₹880 to ₹900 per 10 grams.As a result of this decline, 24-carat gold is trading in a range of ₹1,21,470 to ₹1,21,620 per 10 grams across most markets in the country.Similarly, 22-carat gold is available for between ₹1,11,340 and ₹1,11,490 per 10 grams.
In the capital city of Delhi, 24-carat gold was quoted at ₹1,21,620 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold stood at ₹1,11,490. Similar rates were observed in Lucknow and Jaipur. In Mumbai, the financial hub, 24-carat gold was priced at ₹1,21,470 per 10 grams, with 22-carat gold at ₹1,11,340.
Ahmedabad's market saw 24-carat gold at ₹1,21,520 and 22-carat gold at ₹1,11,390 per 10 grams.The price weakness was widespread, with other major cities reflecting the trend. In Chennai and Kolkata, both 24-carat and 22-carat gold were trading at the same levels as Mumbai, ₹1,21,470 and ₹1,11,340, respectively.
Markets in Patna quoted prices identical to Ahmedabad. The state capitals of Karnataka (Bengaluru), Telangana (Hyderabad), and Odisha (Bhubaneswar) also saw 24-carat gold trading at ₹1,21,470 and 22-carat gold at ₹1,11,340 per 10 grams, indicating a broad-based decline.
