(HS): ‘Global Pulotsav’ an event to mark the 25th death anniversary

of renowned Marathi litterateur P L Deshpande and Sunitabai Deshpande’s birth

centenary year, is being organised in Pune from November 6 to 8..

Chairman of the Reception Committee of the festival,

Krishnakumar Goel informed the media that senior singer from Patiala Gharana Pt

Ajay Chakravarti will be honoured with ‘Pu La Memorial Award. Various programmes

will be held at Balgandharva Rangmandir, Balgandharva Art Gallery and Zapurza,

including cultural programmes, seminars, short film screening, cartoon

exhibition etc..

Senior stage artist Satish Alekar will inaugurate

the cartoon exhibition on November 6. ‘Ya Sam Ha’ short film will be screened.

Vijay Kenkre and Shrirang Godbole will participate in the symposium on ‘Kalapudhche

Pu La’ on November 7, while Kaushal Inamdar and Bhanu Kale will speak on ‘Aswadak

Pu La’ on November 8. On November 7 and 8 a workshop ‘Rangreshanchya Sanidhyat’

will be held at Zapurza in the presence of Padhashri Achyut Palve and a

workshop ‘Jaltarang’ will be held on the same day.
