Kolkata, 03 November (H.S.). West Bengal BJP President Shamik Bhattacharya on Monday extended his congratulations to the victorious Indian women’s cricket team following their historic World Cup win.

In a social media post, Bhattacharya wrote, “World’s best, India’s daughters! For the first time in history, India’s women’s brigade has won the World Cup. Congratulations to Team India. Proud of you Team India.”

The Indian women’s team led by Harmanpreet Kaur created history on Sunday night at the DY Patil Stadium, securing their maiden Women’s World Cup title and delivering a striking message, “We are women, we can do anything.”

The remarkable feat has sparked widespread celebration and recognition across the country.
