
Delhi, 3 November (H.S.): Indian wrist-spinner Kuldeep Yadav has been released from the national T20I squad following the third match of the ongoing five-match series against Australia. The decision was made to allow him to join the India A squad for their upcoming four-day match against South Africa A.The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed the move on its official 'X' (formerly Twitter) account. The primary goal is to provide Kuldeep with crucial red-ball match practice ahead of the two-match Test series against South Africa.
Kuldeep, who did not feature in the third T20I, will now participate in the second four-day game starting November 6 at the BCCI's Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru.This strategic decision by the team management is part of a larger plan to ensure key players are adequately prepared for the important Test series.
Kuldeep will have the opportunity to bowl long spells and regain his rhythm in the longer format of the game. He will join a strong India A side captained by Rishabh Pant, which also includes prominent names like KL Rahul and Mohammed Siraj.
