
JERUSALEM, 3 November (H.S.): , The Israeli military confirmed on Sunday that the remains of three hostages held in Gaza have been transferred to the Red Cross as part of an ongoing ceasefire agreement with Hamas.In a statement, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that they had received information from the Red Cross confirming the transfer.
According to information provided by the Red Cross, three coffins of deceased hostages have been transferred into their custody and are on their way to IDF troops in the Gaza Strip, the military said.
The handover is a component of the truce brokered by U.S. President Donald Trump, which went into effect on October 10. Under the terms of the agreement, Hamas is expected to return the remains of 28 deceased hostages. Following this recent transfer, a total of 17 bodies have been returned to Israel.
