Chandrapur, 03 Nov (HS): A 140-bed Cancer Hospital equipped with modern

facilities, will be inaugurated in Chandrapur at the hands of RSS

Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat on November 22. Maharashtra Chief Minister

Devendra Fadnavis will be the special guest.

The

hospital spread over 1,00,000 sqft was planned by Sudhir Mungatiwar when he was

the Finance Minister and also Chandrapur’s Guardian Minister. The hospital is

has been developed in association with Tata Trust by investing Rs 280 crore.

The

four-storey building will have facilities of CTS, 3D, 4D Ultrasound and

Electrography, CT-16 slides and Spect, two lenear Accelerators, Digital X-ray,

chemotherapy, surgical oncology, microbiology, haematology, histopathology etc.

Late

Ratan Tata had wished that the hospital should be inaugurated at the hands of

Dr Bhagwat, Mungantiwar said and added that he himself requested Dr Bhagwat for

the event.
