
Delhi, 26 November (H.S.): The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested a Faridabad resident, identified as Soyab, for his role in sheltering a key terrorist involved in the recent car bomb blast near Delhi's Red Fort .
Investigators have confirmed that Soyab provided lodging and logistical support to Umar un-Nabi, the main perpetrator, immediately preceding the attack.Soyab marks the seventh individual apprehended in connection with the deadly explosion that occurred on November 10.
The NIA stated that its ongoing, multi-state investigation is actively pursuing various leads to dismantle the wider conspiracy behind the terror act. Prior to this, six other collaborators of Umar un-Nabi had been taken into custody.The car bomb detonation, which took place outside the historic Red Fort, resulted in the tragic death of more than 10 people and left numerous others injured.
The NIA's intensive probe continues, with law enforcement agencies in several states conducting search operations to track down all individuals involved in the attack.
