Jammu, 25 November (H.S.): Newly appointed Convenor of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) J&KUT, Ritika Trehan, along with Co-Convenors Indu Wazir and Sarojini Sharma met BJP J&K president Sat Sharma and organizational general secretary Ashok Koul here today.

The team sought the leadership’s blessings and presented them with a shawl as a mark of respect.

Expressing gratitude for the trust placed in them, the BBBP team assured that they would work with full dedication to fulfill their responsibilities in Jammu and Kashmir as per the new guidelines and designations.

During the interaction, Ritika outlined the core objectives of the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao initiative and discussed strategies to further strengthen the movement in the region.

She stressed the importance of women’s empowerment and girls’ education, reaffirming the team’s commitment to promoting these values across J&K.

BJP president Sat Sharma appreciated the enthusiasm and vision of the team and assured them of the party’s full support.

He emphasized the need for collective efforts to advance the welfare of women and girls.

Several senior BJP leaders were also present and lauded the team’s commitment, extending their support to the mission.
