24 Nov (HS): Famous Bollywood actress and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut, who arrived in
Uttar Pradesh's religious city Varanasi (Kashi) on Monday, performed the rituals
of Darshan Puja at Kashi's Kotwal Baba Kalbhairav and Shri Kashi Vishwanath
Temple. The actress, who came to Kashi, first performed Darshan Puja at Baba
Kalbhairav's court. Kangana stood in the queue for Darshan like any other
ordinary devotee without any special arrangement in the temple. She had bought
the puja material herself for Darshan. After Darshan Puja at Kalbhairav
Temple, she performed Darshan Puja at Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple.
In
the sanctum sanctorum of the temple, Kangana worshipped Baba Vishwanath with
the Shodashopachar method under the supervision of the temple's Acharyas. After
darshan and puja in the temple, Kangana Ranaut also tasted the famous chaat of
Kashi. During this, while talking to the journalists; she said that after
coming to the land of Kashi, she has felt immense energy and positivity. Today
we have come to the city of Shiva-Parvati. Here, every street, every turn,
every temple has an amazing spiritual power. I am completely immersed in
devotion. She described this journey of hers as completely spiritual.
She
said that our Kashi Maiya is looking exactly like the Kashi we have read about
in our old scriptures. Praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Kangana said that
the Prime Minister also says that Kashi has adopted me. In fact, whoever this
city blesses, his life path automatically changes. That is why we have also
come to the lap of Kashi today and are taking Baba's blessings. Kangana Ranaut
said that the cleanliness arrangements in Kashi are very good. Shri Kashi
Vishwanath Corridor has also been built. She told that we visited the streets
and saw that they have also been paved now.
Kangana
paid tribute to veteran actor Dharmendra - MP Kangana Ranaut, who came to Kashi
after attending a program organized in Prayagraj, expressed grief over the
demise of veteran actor Dharmendra and paid tribute after visiting temples.
