Ayodhya,
24 Nov (HS): Prior to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's arrival, Ramnagari's every
corner, temple, road, and courtyard radiated spirituality. PM Modi will not be visiting Hanumangarhi
this time due to a minor change in the itinerary. The flag-raising event marks the completion
of the Ram Temple, and Rajaram has also been ensconced within it. As a result, Ramnagari has been decked to
greet Rajaram, just as Awadhpuri will be decorated when Ram arrives. Ramesh
Das, a Hanumangarhi priest, indicated that there was no information regarding
the PM's presence; he was initially planned to visit Hanumangarhi.
Prime
Minister Narendra Modi will visit Ayodhya on Tuesday to ceremonially raise the
saffron flag on the pinnacle of the Ram Janmbhoomi Temple, symbolizing the
temple's completion. The right-angled triangle flag, which is ten feet in
height and twenty feet in length, has a bright Sun symbolizing Lord Rama's
brilliance and courage, as well as a 'Om' imprinted on it and the picture of a
Kovidara tree, according to a statement from the prime minister's office (PMO).
According to the PMO, the sacred saffron flag would transmit a message of
dignity, togetherness, and cultural continuity, symbolizing Ram Rajya's
principles.
The
flag will be raised atop a'shikhar' built in the traditional North Indian
Nagara architectural style, while the surrounding 800-meter Parkota, a
circumambulatory enclosure designed in the South Indian architectural
tradition, will showcase the temple's architectural diversity, according to the
statement. During his journey to Ayodhya, the prime minister will visit the
Saptmandir, which has shrines dedicated to Maharshi Vashishtha, Maharshi
Vishwamitra, Maharshi Agastya, Maharshi Valmiki, Devi Ahilya, Nishadraj Guha,
and Mata Shabari. This will be followed by a stop to Sheshavtar Mandir. He
would also go to Mata Annapurna Mandir to do darshan and pooja at Ram Darbar
Garbh Grah, followed by darshan at Ram Lalla Garbha Grah, according to the
release.
At
about noon, Prime Minister Modi will ceremonially hoist the saffron flag atop
the'shikhar' of the hallowed Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Temple in Ayodhya, symbolizing
the temple's completion and ushering in a new chapter of cultural celebration
and national togetherness, according to a PMO statement. The Prime Minister
will also address the audience on occasion. The event will take place on the
auspicious Panchami date of Shukla Paksha in the month of Margashirsha, which
coincides with the Abhijit Muhurat of Shri Ram and Maa Sita's Vivah Panchami, a
day representing divine unity, according to the statement. This date also
commemorates the martyrdom of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, the ninth Sikh Guru, who
meditated in Ayodhya for 48 hours straight in the 17th century, adding to the
day's spiritual importance, according to a PMO statement.
The
temple complex includes 87 finely carved stone events from Lord Rama's life
based on the Valmiki Ramayana on the outside walls of the main temple, as well
as 79 bronze-cast episodes from Indian culture around the enclosure walls. These
features work together to deliver a meaningful and instructive experience for
all visitors, providing profound insight into Lord Rama's life and India's
cultural history, according to a PMO statement.
Meanwhile,
the number of guest seats in the Ram Temple complex has been increased from 15
to 19. Work continued on Sunday to install chairs in each block. Guests are
also being issued entry tickets, which will be scanned to identify them and
allow them to enter the temple. Guests will begin arriving on Monday. Offices
have also been opened for guest convenience in Karsevak Puram and Tirtha
Kshetra Puram. Separate offices have been established for Awadh, Kashi, Gorakh,
and Kanpur provinces. Guests will receive all necessary information and guidance
from these offices. The Ram Temple Trust also inaugurated seven canteens at
eight locations on Sunday. Devotees are being satisfied with Ram Lalla's Prasad
at the Sita Rasoi on Angad Tila. A laser show was also rehearsed at the Ram
Temple on Sunday night. Scenes from Ram's marriage were shown through laser
shows from the temple's peak to the pavilions.
