
Bhubaneswar, 24 November (H.S.): A grand alumni meet was organized in Bhubaneswar to commemorate the centenary year of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). The event brought together former students of Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) and volunteers of the Shastri Sayam Shakha at the committee hall of Radha-Madhav Temple in Raj Bhavan Colony.
The programme was graced by several distinguished guests, including Mohini Mohan Mishra, All India General Secretary of Bharatiya Kisan Sangh; Kandhamal MP Sukanta Panigrahi; Bhubaneswar Mahanagar Sanghchalak Shrinivas Manasingh; Khandagiri Bhag Pramukh Vijayaketan Sahu; Provincial Social Harmony Chief Kumar Sahu; noted writer and retired professor Dr. Madhusudan Das; Sudhakar Shatapathy; Gurucharan Jena; Dr. Sudhanya Patra; and Dr. Balungeshwar Sadhangi. Many volunteers from diverse fields also attended and shared their thoughts.
Speakers highlighted the significant role of the RSS in ongoing social and developmental initiatives across the country and presented several constructive suggestions for future efforts.
Former Regional Pracharak Pramukh Prasanna Kumar Mishra and Sah-Kshetra Pracharak Jagadish Prasad Khadanga were also present on the occasion.
The programme began with a devotional song presented by students of Saraswati Shishu Vidyamandir-8 and concluded with the RSS prayer.
