Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma paid homage to the ninth Sikh Guru, Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, recalling him as the Hind Ki Chadar and an eternal symbol of religious steadfastness, courage and human values.

The Chief Minister stated that the Guru’s life embodied the ideals of truth, justice, love and unity. He added that Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s supreme sacrifice continues to inspire generations to stand firmly against injustice and remain devoted to the service of humanity.

CM Sarma further emphasized the timeless relevance of the Guru’s teachings and urged people to follow the path he illuminated.---------
