Chandrapur, 22 Nov (HS): Ten spotted deer from
Chandrapur’s Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR) were successfully shifted to
Navegaon-Nagzira Tiger Project, on the first day of the relocation mission.
The spotted deer were captured and kept on African ‘Boma’
system (specialized funnel-shaped enclosure for capturing and relocating
animals) in the Jamni under Kolara Forest Range. The process was in progress
for the last four months.
The animals were shifted in two special vehicle installed
