With an eye on securing a third consecutive term for the BJP-led NDA alliance in Assam, the state unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party has intensified its organizational preparations for the 2026 Assembly elections. Under the resolute and dynamic leadership of Assam BJP State President Dilip Saikia, the party has been working vigorously to strengthen its structure at every level.

In a special organizational meeting held on Saturday with office-bearers of all three Legislative Assembly Constituencies of Hojai district — including Booth Presidents, BLA-2 members, Palak Karyakartas, public representatives and grassroots workers — Saikia urged party members to discharge their responsibilities with greater dedication, discipline and sincerity. He called upon them to take a firm resolve to ensure booth-level victory so that the NDA government can once again be formed in the state.

Saikia reiterated that the Assam BJP is fully prepared for the 2026 elections, with the party's organizational strength witnessing a significant surge across all levels. Yesterday, Assam’s Chief Minister, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, also announced through the media that the BJP will give special importance to youth, women and fresh faces while selecting candidates for the upcoming polls.

The party leadership believes that the strengthened organizational machinery, increased participation of young and new workers and enhanced booth-level mobilization will pave the way for a decisive victory for the NDA alliance in 2026.---------
