Delhi, 21 November (H.S.): Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Friday chaired a high-level meeting to review the preparations for a three-day solemn event at the historic Red Fort, set to commemorate the 350th martyrdom anniversary (Shaheedi Diwas) of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur.

In a post on the social media platform 'X', the Chief Minister shared that the meeting, held at the Mukhyamantri Janseva Sadan, included deliberations with a wide array of stakeholders. Representatives from all sections of society, Members of Parliament, cabinet ministers, and other public officials contributed their ideas and suggestions to ensure the flawless execution of the grand observance.

The event, scheduled for November 23, 24, and 25, is being organized as a tribute to what the Chief Minister described as Guru Tegh Bahadur's supreme sacrifice for the protection of humanity, truth, and dharma.

She emphasized that the gathering is an opportunity for the nation to express its collective gratitude.Let us all unite to disseminate the Guru's message of sacrifice, compassion, courage, and humanity to every segment of society, CM Gupta stated.

She affirmed the Delhi government's commitment to organizing an event that is grand, dignified, and enriched by extensive public participation, allowing society to collectively absorb the immortal teachings of the Guru.
