Guwahati, 21 November (HS): Assam State Women Commission Chairperson Angoorlata Deka on Friday attended the 77th NCC Day celebration organised at Cotton University, where she joined NCC cadets in commemorating the occasion.

Speaking at the event, Deka said she feels proud that the National Cadet Corps is shaping both young men and women into courageous and strong individuals. She noted that the NCC’s efforts have significantly boosted confidence, leadership qualities and a sense of responsibility among young women.

Deka extended her greetings and gratitude to Group Commander Brigadier Ajit Kumar Bora (BSM), Cotton University Vice Chancellor Dr Ramesh Chandra Deka, senior NCC officers, distinguished guests and all cadets from Assam for their dedication and contribution.
