New Delhi, 21 November (H.S.): The Ministry of Ayush's pavilion has emerged as a focal point of the India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2025, captivating a burgeoning influx of visitors with its dynamic blend of ancient wellness traditions and contemporary interactive experiences. Operating under the theme “आयुष के साथ – स्वस्थ भारत, श्रेष्ठ भारत,” the pavilion masterfully showcases India's rich heritage in Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha, and other traditional health systems.
With an intergenerational appeal, the pavilion has become a must-visit destination for families, offering a comprehensive wellness journey that includes free medical consultations, complimentary medicines, and a host of engaging activities.
Visitors are flocking to explore everything from digital diagnostic tools and dietary demonstrations to interactive quizzes and live yoga sessions, making it one of the fair's most popular attractions.
A significant draw is the emphasis on Ayush Aahar, or traditional nutrition, where institutes like the All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) and the National Institute of Ayurveda (NIA) are demystifying healthy eating.
Attendees are sampling innovative yet healthy products such as Ragi Nachos, Triphala Jam, and millet-based snacks while learning about the principles of a Sattvic diet. The Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth (RAV) has further gamified this educational push with a popular Millet Quiz, drawing enthusiastic participation.
The pavilion distinguishes itself through hands-on engagement. The Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga is conducting Y-Break sessions for professionals, while the Unani medicine stall offers a novel digital Mizaj (temperament) assessment.
Simultaneously, the Siddha system highlights preventive health with unique nutritional offerings like Hibiscus Infusion Tea. Further promoting a holistic lifestyle, the National Medicinal Plants Board is distributing medicinal saplings as part of the Atal Ayush Mahotsav.
Beyond public engagement, the pavilion underscores the sector's growth and innovation. A dedicated section for Ayush start-ups is showcasing cutting-edge wellness products, highlighting the ministry's commitment to fostering entrepreneurship. This comprehensive exhibit not only educates the public on preventive and affordable healthcare but also solidifies the integration of traditional Indian medicine into the modern scientific landscape.
