Nagpur, 20 Nov
(HS): The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education
is introducing QR Code on the students admit cards. The decision has been taken
to curb unfair means during the examinations. This is an addition to the installation
of CCTV Camera and drone survey. The HSC examinations begins on February 10 and
SSC on February 20, 2026.
On scanning the
QR Code on the admit card, the information about the examinee, and the
examination centre will be visible immediately. This will help the students,
their parents and officials at the examination centres.
The footage will
checked after the examination to verify involvement of employees at the examination
centre in malpractices. The examination centres will have to submit their
reports to the Board. The provision is mandatory for all the examination
centres.
