Delhi, 20 November (H.S.): Kshatriya Karni Sena national president Raj Shekhawat surrendered at Maudhapara police station on Wednesday in a case filed by former Old Basti police station in-charge Yogesh Kashyap, accusing him of criminal intimidation and threatening a public servant. After completing formalities, the police granted him bail.

After his release, Shekhawat told the media that the Karni Sena will go ahead with the planned protest rally on December 7, 2025, called Kshatriya Swabhiman Nyay Mahapanchayat, demanding justice for arrested history-sheeter Virendra Tomar.

Police said Tomar had been absconding for five months and faces several cases related to assault, illegal property dealings, Arms Act violations and extortion of crores of rupees. He was arrested on November 8 and is now in 14-day judicial custody. His younger brother Rohit Tomar is still absconding.

Supporters of Shekhawat raised slogans against the police outside the station.
