
Delhi, 20 November (H.S.): The domestic bullion market witnessed a significant rally on Thursday, with both gold and silver prices recording substantial gains. Gold prices surged by ₹1,120 to ₹1,220 per 10 grams, while silver soared by as much as ₹3,100 per kilogram.
Following the sharp increase, 24-carat gold is now trading in a range of ₹1,24,870 to ₹1,25,020 per 10 grams across major Indian cities. Similarly, 22-carat gold is being sold for between ₹1,14,460 and ₹1,14,610 per 10 grams. In the national capital, the price of silver reached ₹1,65,000 per kilogram.
City-Wise Gold Rates
In New Delhi, Lucknow, and Jaipur, 24-carat gold was priced at ₹1,25,020 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was trading at ₹1,14,610.In key financial and metropolitan hubs including Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Bhubaneswar, 24-carat gold retailed at ₹1,24,870 per 10 grams, with the 22-carat variety priced at ₹1,14,460.
Meanwhile, in cities like Ahmedabad, Bhopal, and Patna, the rate for 24-carat gold was ₹1,24,920 per 10 grams, and 22-carat gold was available for ₹1,14,510 per 10 grams. The price rally was consistent across the country, reflecting a strong bullish sentiment in the precious metals market.
