Jalpaiguri, 2 November (H.S.): An awareness camp on Special Intensive Revision (SIR) was organized in the Rajganj block of Jalpaiguri district on Sunday at the initiative of Mamta Banu, Panchayat member of the Sitaguri booth of Binnanguri Gram Panchayat. Residents were provided with information about filling out the SIR form and the required documents.

The 2002 voter list was also distributed to residents. Jalpaiguri District Trinamool Committee Secretary Ahider Rahman, the Panchayat member's husband Shafiul, and local public representatives were present at the camp.

Jalpaiguri District Trinamool Committee Secretary Ahider Rahman said that the awareness camp was organized to educate residents about the SIR. Most of the families in the area are daily wage laborers. Therefore, this initiative was taken to ensure that people do not face any difficulties in filling out the SIR form and finding their names in the 2002 voter list.
