Guwahati, 01 November (HS): Dispur Police have arrested Bikash Asom, the secretary of Veer Lachit Sena’s Kamrup Metropolitan unit, after a Facebook post showing him enjoying a film went viral.

According to police sources, Asom was on the run for several days before his arrest. He was seen in the viral post with his face covered in black cloth while watching a movie. Following the circulation of the video on social media, police traced and apprehended him.

He is currently being held at Dispur Police Station for further interrogation.
