Jalaun, 09 Oct (HS): Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed
a public meeting in Jalaun district on Thursday. He began his address by paying
homage to the land of Jalaun. He mentioned Kalpi's famous Handman papers and
the confluence of five rivers in the district, calling it a privilege for the
district. In his speech, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched a scathing
attack on governments prior to 2017, particularly the Samajwadi Party (SP). He
alleged that before 2017, uncle-nephew duos would go out to extort money. Some
people in the state used to incite riots during festivals. Yogi claimed that
the government now does not bow down to rioters, but instead shows them their
rightful place.
Yogi said, There is no longer any
place for mafia and anarchy in the state. He accused the Samajwadi Party
of demolishing monuments to great men and adopting a one district, one
mafia policy. He said that previously, SP leaders used to protect goons
by saying, They're boys, they make mistakes, but now, under the BJP
government, Yamaraj is waiting for criminals.
The Chief Minister clarified that if
anyone tries to create chaos during festivals, the police will deal with them
strictly under the 'zero tolerance' policy. Yogi claimed that before 2017,
people of Uttar Pradesh, especially Bundelkhand, were hesitant to name their
district, but now the double engine government has transformed UP from the
image of a 'BIMARU' state to a developed one. He said that now farmers are
getting every facility, traders are getting security and the benefits of
schemes are being given without discrimination.
The Chief Minister launched a scathing
attack on the Samajwadi Party, saying, There was a saying about the
Samajwadi Party, “daughter used to get scared on seeing SP' men, any vehicle
with an SP flag carried a thug. He alleged that previously, the poor were
exploited and youth were deprived of employment, whereas the BJP government has
brought development. He said that the Samajwadi Party now has no issues left,
so they are fighting among themselves.
