Delhi, 5 October (H.S.): Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change Bhupender Yadav, inaugurated Rajasthan’s first ‘Namo Biodiversity Park’ today at Pratap Bandh in Alwar today, marking a significant milestone in the state’s environmental conservation efforts.
The inauguration ceremony included a symbolic tree plantation and was attended by Sanjay Sharma, Cabinet Minister of the Government of Rajasthan.The newly established park, also known as ‘NAMO VAN’, is envisioned as a crucial green lung for the Alwar region.
According to Yadav’s social media post on platform ‘X’, the park aims to substantially increase local greenery and improve air quality while promoting environmental awareness among the public.This initiative not only enhances the ecological landscape but also seeks to inspire citizens towards adopting sustainable and eco-friendly lifestyles.
The ‘Namo Biodiversity Park’ is anticipated to become a vital hub for public engagement in conservation, reinforcing Rajasthan’s green infrastructure and India’s broader goals in biodiversity preservation and climate action.
