Varanasi,
05 Oct (HS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will arrive in
Varanasi on Monday for a two-day visit. The Chief Minister will honour
sanitation workers at a ceremony organized as part of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan
at the Saroj Palace in Piplani Katra. Prior to this, he will participate in the
closing ceremony of the DSR Conclave held at the International Rice Research
Institute (IRRI) in Lahartara Chandpur. The Chief Minister will also attend a
ceremony to distribute free sewing machines to 250 women at the Annapurna
Rishikul Brahmacharya Ashram in Shivpur, part of the Annapurna Temple Trust.
Following this, the Chief Minister will hold a review meeting on development
works and law and order in the Circuit House auditorium. Following the meeting,
the Chief Minister will also visit and offer prayers at the Shri Kashi
Vishwanath and Kaal Bhairav temples. After a night's rest at the Circuit
House, he will depart for Gorakhpur the next morning. In anticipation of the
Chief Minister's visit, district administration officials are busy finalizing
security arrangements, including holding review meetings.

Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi will also participate in the Direct
Seeded Rice Conclave: Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi will join the
Chief Minister in attending the Direct Seeded Rice (DSR) program being held at
the International Rice Research Institute (IRI) in Chandpur. 300 scientists,
representatives from companies and organizations, and progressive farmers from
India and abroad will also be present.
