Bhubaneswar, 4 October (H.S.) Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Saturday paid a courtesy call on Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar in New Delhi and apprised him of the state government’s ongoing development initiatives and future plans.
During the meeting, Majhi presented the ‘Odisha Vision 2036 | 2047’, a long-term roadmap that outlines the state’s developmental goals over the next two decades. He briefed the Vice President about key welfare programmes, infrastructure projects, and economic reforms being implemented by the state government.
The Chief Minister said that the interaction provided an opportunity to discuss Odisha’s priorities in areas such as social welfare, inclusive growth, and sustainable development. He also highlighted the government’s focus on creating a strong foundation for achieving the targets set in the vision document.
Majhi expressed gratitude for the Vice President’s encouragement and guidance, stating that the meeting reinforced the state’s commitment to pursuing comprehensive progress.
