Islamabad, 4 October (H.S.): A moderate earthquake with a magnitude of 4.5 struck Pakistan in the early hours of Saturday. The tremor was recorded at approximately 1:59 AM Indian Standard Time, according to data from India's National Center for Seismology.

The seismic event originated at a shallow depth of 10 kilometers. Its epicenter was pinpointed at latitude 28.30 N and longitude 65.25 E. There were no immediate reports concerning damage or casualties following the quake.This marks the second tremor to affect the country in recent days.

On Wednesday, a smaller, 3.2 magnitude earthquake was felt in the Karachi area. According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, that event occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers and was centered seven kilometers northwest of Malir.
