Oct (HS): On the 150th birth anniversary of the country's first
Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister, the Iron Man, Sardar
Vallabhbhai Patel, a Run for Unity was organized to commemorate his legacy. The
Run for Unity concluded at Samrat Harshvardhan Square, passing through the
Sardar Patel Institute and Tiranga Park in Alopi Bagh. Prior to this, the chief
guest, Cabinet Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi and BJP Prayagraj
Metropolitan President Sanjay Gupta paid homage to the Iron Man by garlanding
and offering flowers at his statue at Sardar Patel Sthan. Following this, the
Cabinet Minister and BJP Metropolitan President ran a race as part of the Run
for Unity. A large number of students, common citizens, and people from all
walks of life were present. On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Nand Gopal Gupta
Nandi said that Sardar Patel was the architect of the country's unity,
integrity, and nation-building. The nation will always be grateful to him for
his numerous public welfare works, from nation-building to laying the
foundation for a self-reliant India. It is difficult to imagine the unification
of the nation without Sardar Patel. His role in uniting a fragmented India
after independence was decisive. The outline of our country as it appears on
the map today is the result of his vision. BJP Metropolitan President Sanjay
Gupta said that Sardar Patel's life inspires us to strengthen our sense of
dedication to the unity and integrity of the nation. The foresight,
determination, and patriotism with which Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel united India
will remain a source of inspiration for this country for ages. In the true
sense, he was the creator of India's soul. On this occasion, Dr. Shailesh
