Bhubaneswar, 31 October (H.S.): Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati administered an oath to the officers and staff of Raj Bhavan to uphold the unity, integrity, and security of the nation on the occasion of National Unity Day. He urged everyone to strengthen internal security and promote the spirit of unity and patriotism among citizens.

A special programme was organised at the Abhishek Hall of Raj Bhavan to commemorate the birth anniversary of India’s first Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister, Iron Man of India, Bharat Ratna Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

During the ceremony, the Governor offered floral tributes to the portrait of Sardar Patel. Raj Bhavan Commissioner-cum-Secretary Mrs. Rupa Roshan Sahu, along with all officers and staff, also paid their respects and joined in commemorating the legacy of Sardar Patel.
