Oct (HS): The Maharashtra State Cooperative Marketing Federation Limited,

handed over a cheque of Rs 51 lakh to the Chief Minister’s Fund to help the

flood-affected farmers in the state.

The cheque was

handed over to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at Mumbai, in the presence of Deputy

Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar. Minister for Disaster Management

Girish Mahajan was also present. President of the Federation Dattatray Pansare

and Vice-President Rohit Nikam handed over the cheque to Fadnavis.

Fadnavis

appreciated the sensibility of the Federation towards the people of the society

in distress. The funds will be helpful in providing relief to the farmers.
