Oct (HS): The closing ceremony and prize distribution function of the Inter

Institutional Cultural and Games Extravaganza, Alfresco 2025 concluded here on Friday.

This year, the prestigious ‘Alfresco 2025 Championship Trophy’, was shared by

three schools namely, Boys’ High School (BHS) and College, Bishops Co-Ed

School, Undri, Pune and Girls’ High School (GHS) and College. They gave stellar

performance in the three-day mega fest. The Star Performer of the mega fest was

BHS College Captain, Shreyansh Vinay. In this mega fest twelve hundred children

from different educational institution of Prayagraj and outside took part.

Justice

Gautam Chaudhary, was the Chief Guest. On arrival, the Principal, D. A. Luke

accorded a warm welcome to the Chief Guest. It was a proud moment for the

Bishops Co-Ed School, Undri, Boys’ High School and College and Girls’ High

School and College, when the Chief Guest handed over the prestigious Alfresco

2025 Championship Trophy to them for their stellar performance at the three-day

mega fest. Thereafter, the prizes were awarded to the winners and runners in

the event, Ad Factor, Envogue, Basketball, Cricket and Football.

Addressing

the students, the Chief Guest, Justice Chaudhary praised the school for

organizing Inter School competitions to promote cultural activities and games.

He further added that such functions help to promote healthy inter-personal

relationships among the student’s fraternity. He said that one must learn

English to understand the world but Hindi helps to understand the Indian

culture and traditions. Children are very intelligent, but they need proper

guidance to channelize their energies for the proper development of their

personalities. He further stressed on discipline and added that it is a way of

life for the success in any field. He stated that the teachers and parents are

their best guide and asked the students to follow their advice in letter and

spirit.

In the

Principal’ Choice category, cultural program presented by the Girls’ High

School (GHS) and College and Boy’s High School (BHS) and College. GHS presented

fusion of dance while BHS Rockers gave a thrilling Band Performance. The

Principal, D. A. Luke congratulated the winners and motivated others who could

not win the prizes. In the end, the Academic Supervisor, C. B. Luke proposed a

vote of thanks, followed by the National Anthem.
