Oct (HS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed sincere
greetings to the people of Uttar Pradesh on the auspicious occasion of
Gopashtami. He emphasized the spiritual
significance of Gomata (the mother cow), describing her as a source
of wisdom, nutrition, and medicine. He invited
the people to sign a vow to conserve, preserve, and serve cows. In a post on X,
he mentioned, “Cows, an inexhaustible source of wealth, food, and medicine, are
the ultimate treasure of prosperity. Hearty congratulations to the people of
the state on the sacred festival of 'Gopashtami,' dedicated to the worship of
'Mother Cow. Let us all take a vow to protect, promote, and serve the cattle
and raise awareness among the people.”
In separate
posts he paid tributes to Maharishi Swami Dayanand Saraswati on death
anniversary and Pramod Mahajan on his birth anniversary. “A humble tribute to
Maharishi Swami Dayanand Saraswati, the pioneer of the Indian Renaissance and
founder of the Arya Samaj, on his death anniversary! He made education a
balanced bridge between culture and modernity. His teachings attack the evils
and superstitions prevalent in society and pave the way for the establishment
of a harmonious society,” he remarked in a post on X. Similarly, in another
post he stated, “A humble tribute to the popular politician and eloquent
orator, former Union Minister Pramod Mahajan, on his birth anniversary! His
life of dedication to the people, imbued with political ideals, is a guiding
light for us all.” Yogi Adityanath also extended birthday wishes to Cabinet
Minister Shri Yogendra Upadhyay via a post on X, which reads as follows: “Heartiest
birthday wishes to my colleague in the Uttar Pradesh government, Cabinet
Minister Shri Yogendra Upadhyay! May Lord Shri Ram bless you with good health,
long life, and the opportunity to continue serving the people. May you always
make invaluable contributions to the development of society and the state.”
