PM Modi added that Thevar stood for dignity, unity and self-respect, blending deep spirituality with an unshakeable resolve to serve society.The Guru Pooja annually commemorates both the birth and death anniversary of Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar, which coincidentally fall on October 30.
