Guwahati, 29 October (HS): Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on Wednesday announced that a Pay Commission will soon be constituted in the state.

The Chief Minister said that he has already instructed the state’s Chief Secretary to begin preparations for the formation of the Pay Commission. The move is aimed at reviewing and revising the pay structure of government employees in Assam.
