Srinagar, 28 October (H.S.): The Jammu and Kashmir Government has launched the e-SAM (e-Security Assessment and Management) Portal to ensure real-time, centralized tracking of IT assets across all government departments.

The digital platform, part of the Union Territory’s cyber security initiatives, aims to replace outdated manual systems with an automated inventory management system covering procurement, issuance, and monitoring of IT equipment.

The new system will enhance transparency, accountability, and cyber resilience while reducing costs and duplication.

All departments and divisions have been accordingly directed to shift to the e-SAM Portal for inventory-related functions by December 15, 2025.
