Kheri, 27 Oct (HS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced the

renaming of Mustafabad in Lakhimpur Kheri district to Kabirdham. He said that

previous governments had renamed Ayodhya as Faizabad, Prayagraj as Allahabad,

and Kabirdham as Mustafabad. He said that he had restored the identity of these

places. The opposition used to do this in the name of secularism, but this was

hypocrisy.

Chief

Minister Yogi Adityanath visited the Vishwa Kalyan Ashram in Mustafabad and

paid homage to revered saints by participating in the Smriti Prakatyotsav

Mela-2025. At the event held at the Kabirdham Ashram, the Chief Minister

stated that the words of Saint Kabirdas continue to guide society. He unleashed

a stream of Nirgun Bhakti that broke down societal disparities and successfully

explained the relationship between the soul and the Supreme Being in simple

terms. The Chief Minister said that the couplet, Guru Govind dono khade

kaake lagoon paon... (Guru Govind both standing, whom to bow first...)

still reminds us of the importance of a guru. Yogi Adityanath emphasized that

the words of saints are as relevant today as they were hundreds of years ago.

He remarked that Kabirdas criticized the caste disparities in society at that

time, saying, No one asks for caste, but the one who worships Hari

becomes Hari's. This saying is the foundation of our society's unity and

integrity.

The Chief

Minister said that under the double-engine government, work is being done to

restore and beautify religious sites in the state. Previously, this money was

used to build boundary walls for graveyards . Previous governments renamed

Ayodhya as Faizabad, Prayagraj as Allahabad, and Kabirdham as Mustafabad. We

have restored the identity of these sites. The opposition used to do this in

the name of secularism, but this is hypocrisy. Now, Mustafabad will be renamed

Kabirdham. The Chief Minister said that there is a need to be vigilant against

forces that break the unity of the country. Even today, anti-social forces are

trying to attack faith and create divisions in the name of caste. He said that

if we do not recognize our weaknesses in time, these diseases will erode

society like cancer. Yogi said that patriotism is the solution to all problems.

He said, Mata Bhoomi Putroham... This land is not just a piece of

soil; it is our motherland and fatherland. Serving this land is true worship.

He said that

a new wave of development is also flowing in border districts like Lakhimpur

Kheri. Roads and medical colleges are being built here, along with the

expansion of the airport. Eco-tourism is being promoted. The Chief Minister

pointed out that the restoration of religious sites like Gola Gokarnanath Dham

and Kabirdham is boosting both faith and tourism.

The Chief

Minister praised the work of Saint Asangdev Maharaj and said that he is doing

wonderful work for religion, de-addiction and national consciousness. Speaking

on de-addiction, he said that addiction is the cause of destruction. Foreign

powers are conspiring to destroy our youth. He stressed on limiting the use of

phones and focusing on self-development. Chief Minister Yogi also stressed on

cow service and natural farming. He said that the government is giving Rs 1500

per month for every cow. For the protection of mother cow, public

representatives should look after cow shelters. The land is becoming barren due

to chemical farming. Therefore, adopt natural farming.

Earlier,

Chief Minister Yogi performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the Sadguru Kabir

Asangdev Dharamshala. Present on the occasion were Asangdev Maharaj, state

government ministers Rakesh Sachan, Nitin Agarwal, Mannulal Kori, MLAs Aman

Giri, Romi Sahni, Lokendra Pratap Singh, Shashank Verma, Yogesh Verma, Vinod

Shankar Awasthi, Manju Tyagi, Saurabh Singh Sonu, Mahamandaleshwar

Pravaktananda, and a large number of devotees and saints.
