Oct (HS): Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi and former mayor Abhilasha Gupta

Nandi performed Chhath puja and offered prayers to the setting sun. On the occasion of Chhath, the great festival

of sun worship and folk faith, Industrial Development Minister of Uttar Pradesh

Government, Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi participated in the Chhath Puja organised at

Baluaghat Baradari on Monday.

Nandi paid obeisance to the setting sun with reverence and faith. Minister

Nandi worshipped Chhathi Maiya with devotion, carrying the daura on his head.

Former Mayor Abhilasha Gupta Nandi performed the puja at Arail Ghat. During

this, Mandal President Parmanand Verma etc were present. Carrying daura on the

head, they reached the ghat chanting the name of Chhathi Maiya and paid

obeisance to Mother Yamuna. Minister Nandi wished the fasting women on the

occasion of Chhath festival. He said that there is so much devotion in Chhathi

Maiya that all people are equal. There is no discrimination in this festival.

performed puja at Arail Ghat on the occasion of Chhath Mahaparva. Former Naini
