Chandrapur, 27 Oct (HS): Former Sarpanch (Village

Head) of Shivra under the Chimur Forest Range, Nilkanth Bure, was killed by a

tiger. His body was found around 11 pm on Sunday near his farm.

Bhure had gone to his farm in the evening, but did

not return till late evening. The family members and the villagers started

searching for him and found half-eaten body around 11 pm. On getting the

information Forest officials rushed to the site. Patrolling in the area was

intensified and villagers were alerted by the Forest officials.
