Delhi, 27 October (H.S.): Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta described feeling a sense of devotion and divinity after participating in the grand Chhath Puja festival on Monday at Bapu Park in Mangolpuri.

In a post on the social media platform X, the Chief Minister shared that she joined the sacred celebrations alongside Delhi Pradesh President Virendra Sachdeva, Member of Parliament Yogendra Chandolia, and Member of the Legislative Assembly Rajkumar Chauhan. She remarked that the radiant tradition of Chhath is filling the entire city with new energy, hope, and enthusiasm. She also noted that after several years, the festival is being celebrated across Delhi with full excitement and splendor.

I pray to Chhathi Maiya that with her immense grace, Delhi may always remain happy, prosperous, and progressive, Gupta stated. May there be light in every home, faith in every heart, and a new radiance in every life.

Delhi Pradesh President Virendra Sachdeva also extended his greetings on X, describing the festival as a unique symbol of sun worship, restraint, and faith within Indian culture. He added that the occasion delivers a powerful message of unity, purity, and dedication to society.
